"I bring a unique approach to buying and selling homes here in the Triangle. The truth is, you deserve a superb experience. It's all about personal service that is unparalleled. I call it Triangle Real Estate with Style... Real Estate for Real Life!"
There aren't many veteran Raleigh real estate agents with Ashley Wilson's resume.
Seventy-six million dollars in sales over the past three years, MAME top producer awards in 2007 and 2008, a National Sales Team of the Year Silver Award in 2008, International President’s Premier, and professional certifications in sales and marketing.
Even her first try at real estate was a success. After taking over in a struggling community in Raleigh, Ashley single-handedly changed the sales climate. Before she arrived at Athens Wood, there were only 18 sales in the prior two years. After four months at the helm, not only had she sold 16 houses but she had effectively sold herself out of a job.
Pretty much everything she's touched since she got into real estate has turned to gold. So no, there aren't many veteran agents who sell houses like Ashley Wilson.
But there is one problem with that statement. Ashley's not a veteran real estate agent. In fact, she's not even 30. So much for age meaning everything.
Just six years removed from donning a cap and gown for college graduation at Meredith College and five years since her start as a Realtor®, Ashley has redefined early success in selling houses in the Triangle. From Athens Wood in Raleigh to the Heritage community in Wake Forest, in every area she's entered Ashley has had unprecedented success, which is why Realtor® magazine named her one of the top 30 Realtors under 30 in the country.
But Ashley does not just rest on her professional hardware to do the talking. She has valuable relationships with clients and over 25 builders in the area that speak far louder than professional accolades.
Ashley is a native of Concord but has made the Triangle area her home since she went off to school in Raleigh in 1998. After joining the Meredith alumni in 2002, she taught sixth grade in Chapel Hill for two years before being bitten by the real estate bug the summer after her first year. During that first summer she worked for her mentor Michael Sandman at a law firm, and after speaking with her about her future, Michael gave her a gift and a bit of free advice.
The gift? Four-hundred dollars. The advice? Get a license in real estate.
After over $76 million in sales, six real estate awards, over 200 sold houses and even more lives changed with new homes, it's safe to say the $400 that Michael Sandman gave her was money well spent.
In her five years as a Realtor®, Ashley has specialized in new home sales mostly in the Athens Wood and Heritage Wake Forest community. While she'll still stop in for work in those two neighborhoods, she recently took on the new challenge of working in the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Falls office and hopes to help a new group of buyers find homes. But not everything will be new for Ashley in the CBHPW Falls office. Ashley already has established herself as a valuable part of the Raleigh community.
In 2007, Ashley helped found the Triangle Spokes Group in the capital city. Each Christmas, Ashley and the TSG works with the Salvation Army to buy bikes for needy children in the area. Last year the Triangle Spokes Group raised enough $22,000 and donated 200 bikes. This year they hope to provide over 300 bikes to area youth. In addition to her community involvement, Ashley also brings the same dedication and creativity that helped her attain the level of success she has reached today.
Ashley prides herself on her innovative marketing techniques and her ability to not just find new homes for clients but find the home that suits them -- that includes unmatched relocation and referral services as well as superior negotiating skills. Essentially Ashley focuses on the skills it takes to make the home-buying process work for you, the client. Because it's not just a home, it's YOUR HOME. It's not about the home, it's about YOU! The people are the most important part.
